Membership types
Professional Membership
There are four grades of Professional Membership. Your experience and qualifications will be mapped to the grade that recognizes your achievements. You can join at any grade and stage of your career – and as you progress in management, you can upgrade your membership to reflect your accomplishments.
Affiliate Membership is for new and aspiring managers. To be eligible, you’ll need to have been a manager for up to three years. Alternatively, you could have a Level 2 qualification or 10 days.

Get the right level
Qualification levels broadly equate to your level of management experience. The higher the qualification level, the more complex the skills and knowledge you’ll need to gain the qualification, and the more unsupervised learning you’ll need to do.
EAEL qualifications start at Level 2 (ideal for team leaders) and go up to Level 7 (suited to senior managers, such as a CEO) – Review levels against management experience and other qualifications.
As you develop your abilities and career, you move up through the qualification levels. EAEL qualifications are specifically designed for fast and easy progression and development as a manager.
